Clothing

Mosquitoes usually look for their prey with their eyes. People who wear red, black, and navy blue, which are immediately visible colors, are more likely to be bitten.

Blood type

Adult mosquitoes eat pollen, but females use the blood as their food to lay their eggs. O blood types are more susceptible to mosquitoes than A and B types. Eighty-five percent of people can emit signals from their cells, depending on their blood type.

Gas

Studies show that malaria-causing mosquitoes are more likely to bite pregnant women than non-pregnant women. The amount of carbon dioxide emitted by a pregnant woman during pregnancy is 21 percent higher than for non-pregnant women. Pregnant women also fall prey to mosquitoes, which like warm-blooded animals because they have a higher body temperature.
