According to the China Securities Journal, details are not yet available. As far as we know, Honor and US chipmaker Qualcomm are on good terms. The two companies are also reportedly close to reaching an agreement to ship parts.
At the last Snapdragon Technology Summit, Qualcomm chairman Cristiano Aman said he hoped to do business with Honor. It is unknown at this time what processor Honor will use in terms of Honor 5G. What is certain is that Qualcomm will not be using the upcoming Honor V40 series.
Honor’s new flagship phone, the Honor V40, which will be unveiled in January, is rumored to come with Taiwanese chipmaker MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ SoC. The phone has a 90Hz refresh rate display and is rumored to have the highest touch sampling rate. It has not been officially announced when the Honor V40 will be introduced with 66W Fast Charging.
